How To Help

Starving Pooled Recently Rescued

Starving Poodle Recently Rescued

The Brashear family and all of our volunteers give their time and out-of-pocket expenses to foster and assist placing pets in homes. We receive no federal or state funding.

Without our generous volunteers, we couldn’t accomplish our goal. They are the source of strength to keep going with the never-ending battle of saving homeless, surrendered, or abandoned pets. Without them, there would be no rescue!

You Can Help Too

We do not accept monetary donations, but there are many ways you can help!  Here’s how:

  • We welcome donations of pet food, pet supplies, and similar items that are directly for the pets’ benefit.
  • Volunteer your time:
    • Rescue pets in need. Become part of our network and pick up pets that are in danger and bring them to us.
    • Foster one or more pets in your home.
    • Help us bring pets in for their vet visits.
  • If you would like to help with our expenses, you can donate to our account at the veterinary clinic that provides medical services for our foster pets.  The clinic is Affordable Animal Care Clinic at 239-694-7271.  Tell them you’re donating to Taylors Tears.
